Places of Interest
The mini Arc de Triomphe style Puerta del Mar (the old entrance to the city for anyone coming from the Mediterranean) stands proud to the north west of Eixample and the Gran Vía Marques de Túria is a nice place for an afternoon walk in the shade. The impressive bull ring is also in the north-east corner of the barrio.
Shops and Facilities
Exclusive boutiques on Marques de Túria, all the necessary supermarkets, hairdressers, chemists - this is one of the richest areas of town. Calle Colón has all your highstreet needs.
Parks and Children
Eixample is bordered by an attractive section of the Túria gardens and Gulliver´s play park is just a 15 minute walk down the old river bed (entry is free).
